In the past few years, we have covered plenty of fancy wearable robots that can assist workers with tasks on a daily basis. The SPORTSMATE 5 is a robotic exoskeleton for consumers. It has fitness and outdoor modes, so you can use it to add resistance to your workouts or assist you in hiking.

The SPORTSMATE 5 comes with 2 actuators to lift your legs and push you forward. It lasts up to 3 hours in this mode with 18 Nm assistance torque. In fitness mode, you get up to 10 Nm of resistance torque. You can use it for pilates and outdoor training. More information is available on Kickstarter.

Muscle Suit Every is IP56 water resistant. It is ideal for -30 to 50C conditions. This exoskeleton doesn’t require any battery to work. It “uses the air pump at the waist to fill the suit with air and stabilize strength at your core where it is most effective, simultaneously supporting your back and thighs as you transport heavy loads.”
